❌ Problem: Data appears in a single column

Cause: The file might not be properly tab-delimited, or it might be using a different delimiter.

Solution: Check your original file in a text editor to verify it uses tab characters (\t) as separators. If it uses spaces or other characters, you may need to clean the data first.

❌ Problem: Special characters appear incorrectly

Cause: Encoding mismatch between the source file and the converter.

Solution: Try selecting a different encoding option (UTF-8, UTF-16, etc.) in the converter settings, or save your original TSV file with UTF-8 encoding.

❌ Problem: File is too large to convert

Cause: The file exceeds the maximum size limit for online processing.

Solution: Split your large TSV file into smaller chunks, convert them separately, then merge the resulting CSV files. You can use our CSV merger tool for this.

❌ Problem: Commas in data cause issues

Cause: Your TSV data contains commas that conflict with CSV format.

Solution: Enable the "Quote text fields" option in the converter settings. This will wrap text fields containing commas in quotes, preserving the data integrity.
